Nature Photo of the Day 23: Ice Shelf

Went on a beautiful hike today along a river! Found this really thick ice along the shoreline. Amazed at how thick the ice shelf was!!

    I can't believe how flat and squared off it is. I would expect ripples at least from wind effect.
