Nature Photo of the Day #31: Buried Sumac Cluster

I came upon this buried sumac cluster in the snow today on an icy trail. What a contrast to the white and cloudy day the red is. Love to see the bits of color sprinkled or popping out of hiding throughout nature.

    That is awesome. My favorite was the puffy plant but now this one is. It's so cool!
