Deer Eating Pears

At this time of year,  the pear trees are dropping the fruit. The nice mess of pears are a nice snack for the deer. I notice a doe and her yearlings munching on some pears that are free for the taking. So nice to have the visitors.

Stages of Tomatoes

Just after a rain, I wondered out to the garden. Noticed the stages of tomatoes. Thought that was pretty neat to see all of them in a cluster. Just noticed the tiny leafhopper with purple detailing in the image. Love harvest time.

Climbing Tree

Hiking along and enjoying nature. I gaze to the left and I notice a path that leads off the one I'm on. The path leads to this tree as an invitation of sorts to this unique tree. The way the tree branches are arranged it shouts, climb me!! What a fun looking tree!

Delicate Tiny Mushroom

In the morning is the best time to catch a glimpse of these tiny mushrooms. As the heat of the day approaches they wither away. It is in the brief time in the morning that they stand their tallest in their beauty. I love to slow down and even appreciate the little things in nature!

Spring Tree Buds

Winter being a time of dormancy and rest. As the seasons change, so does the life of nature.  The trees are changing now as they springing back to life with buds growing. Love the color of these buds on this tree! It is Spring!

Pelican Bird, Destin FL

Love sitting on the beach down in Destin, Fl. Listening to the ocean waves crash into the shoreline. The pelicans are awesome to watch as they glide by in the sky, very relaxing. Some in packs and some solo. I think pelicans are really cool birds.
